1. I'm not a creepy guy. I'm the anti-stalker. I know this is going to sound odd so I had to say that first.

I was in classes with this girl, that I think is beautiful, in a unique way. We talked outside class a few times and texted, nothing too flirty, just friends.

When we left for the summer, I found out I couldn't go back to school. To get some closure and put it behind me, I wrote a letter to her. I said I'd had a crush on her, because of her artistic skills, a particular outfit she was going out of her way (I'm not deluded about this, I know women, have three sisters, and eight aunts, all of whom talk like I'm one of the girls around them) to flaunt in front of me, etc.

I then told her I'd daydreamed about how I'd like to run off with her, but I knew it would never happen. Said I'd be the happiest man alive if she were with me on the road in an old 40's or 50's car with an airstream trailer...

Anyway, I ended by saying I doubted we'd ever see each other again but I had to tell her. Have a nice life, etc.

She blocked me.

Okay, cool, whatever. I don't care.

Six months or so go by, and I see that every now and then she's posting things that are exactly what I talked about in my letter. Saw it from a friend's account.

So I go and post something over-the-top, a big pic of the car I'd been talking about, with a goofy declaration that I wanted "my car, my girl, and my airstream trailing behind!" on my timeline. Someone else even "liked" it.

I go back the next day through my friend's account, and she's changed her background to some creepy old bald guy peeking around a corner.

WTF.

There's no way this sh*t is a coincidence. I'm beside myself. Why would anyone do that?

We never had static in class. One time I asked her for drinks and she didn't respond, and I left it alone.

I wasn't comfortable writing the letter or sneaking a peek, and now I'm even less comfortable. But I'm bored, and a hopeless romantic, even in this strange setting.

So yeah, that happened...

What now?
