So my boyfriend got a new job and has had the last two weeks off. He has an issue with needing space and therefore every couple of days we spend a day a part. Since he had has time off he has been meeting people for lunch everyday and making plans most evenings. I have kind of just been filled in when he is done with his day. It was fine with me at first because I want him to catch up with people and have good friendships. The past Monday I got really sick from a proceedure I had gotten done and asked if he could bring me food. He told me he had some errands and was going to work out, but would let me know when he was done. Around 5:00pm he texted me saying he was going drinking with his friends that night. This really bothered me bc I felt awful and he should help take care of me or at least check on me. He went on his way and still didn't check on me that evening. The next day he let's me know he is going drinking again at a bar to watch the football game with a buddy. I also get a text shortly after that he has also made plans for the following day to have a guys night. Mind you he never goes out with me let alone really drinks with me. So all I am thinking is we have plans to go out nye and he may be burnt out by then. Sure enough he was. I got frustrated and told him it's kind of sad how little I have seen him since he has gotten all of this time off and he immediately throws in my face that I hate his friends and it's always a problem when he goes out with them. I tried to explain saying I was sick and you went out and didn't even ask how I was. So we didn't go out nye and new years we sat away from each other and didn't really hang out. So today I ask him if he will go out with my friend and I and he said no way. Even though he knows how much I hate going out without him if I'm not with a big group. Also he said he had a lot to do today and didn't know when he would be done. When I try to talk to him he gets very defensive. What are your thoughts?

Been talking to this guy for a little over a month. We've only hung out a total of 3 times spread out over 6 weeks (college/work= busy)... We had sex the third time. We call each other cuddle buddies... Which I assumed meant "f*ck buddies" or "friends with benefits."

We're on winter break now so we haven't hung out since then. All we do is text. He texts me every single day early in the morning to late at night, always says "good morning" and "goodnight." We talk about random stuff, joke with each other, sometimes flirt, and he brings up hanging out once we get back for break.

He went on a trip yesterday and he said he wants to bring me back a souvenir that suits me. He texted me all the way up until his cruise departed. Oh and when we hang, he pays for meals and we share drinks.

Question: is he looking for a relationship? Or are these just some grand gestures to keep getting in my pants?
