I'm inexperienced as shut with texting, I'm a phone call kinda guy or face to face, but this girl I've been talking to is going well, we met on Tinder but she told me she hates how it's mostly sex and was going to leave the site so I asked for her phone number, she happily gave it and we texted a decent amount for a few days throughout the days the conversations ebbed and flowed I admit, sometimes it's hit a wall and I would redirect it but she did think I was funny and said she liked my sense of humor. Also I will say I typically ask about her and rarely the opposite but I've heard that's common when a guy texts a girl and this girl seems shy as well. I am always the first to text but again I've heard that's common especially this early on.

basically despite the texting being rough sometimes her and I agree on a lot, we don't drink or party don't want just sex etc and she's very physically attractive as well so I have a lot of hope riding on this, anyway last night I texted her and she didn't reply for a couple hours which is fine so I texted goodnight that I would hit the sack and hoped to hear from her today, and she replied "sleep well :)" so I figured yeah maybe she ignored the first one but for us only talking less than a week it's going decently, so today texted her around noon saying good morning that I just got up etc asking what was up and she's never replied, which is fine, I want clarify I don't care if she's busy but what I ask is, is this a bad sign? It's been nearly a whole day and no reply.

so overall would you say this is going well? Or am I maybe pinning too much on this right now? Is the fact that she takes several hours to reply at times bad? She's 19 so I mean usually girls are always with the phones but Like I said I have no texting experienced really it's etiquette is new to me. Like I said do you think this is going alright? Or does she seem disinterested?

I just want to start by saying I'm not some basement dweller, I've always been social and most everyone got along with me, even in college I'm often the first one to get a class talking rather than them all sitting there quiet. I will say I can narrow down the reasons I've been single-one I admit I have very high standards, yes that means looks, whether you agree or not doesn't matter I only want something legit and I'd give the girl everything if we got along so if that makes me 'shallow' I unashamedly am, two, I lost my hair to something like alopecia and I shave what's left, for a white guy I actually lucked out and pull it off but still there are of course plenty of girls who still can't get past that and three, I grew up in a small town, so my high standards combined with a very small selection pool just made it nearly impossible especially since despite the small size cliques were still predominant.

anyway otherwise I've got my life on track, I do still live at home as my father passed away and I'm the only so I decided to stay with mom until she recovered some, I'm attending and doing well in college, I skydive etc the only things really wrong with me are the lack of hair on my head and the fact I have experience really. So girls would that be a problem?

Girl is recently out of 4 year relationship, as of 3 months ago.
She still seems really guarded and is not ready for a relationship.

She brought me a slice of cake she baked for her birthday to our dance class and was worried that it wouldn't taste good.
She doesn't recoil at my touch.

I think she likes me but im so inexperienced I dont know how to read this, advice would be appreciated!
