SO I just got out of a 2month relationship not that long ago with my 3year best friend and long story short I didn't actually like him like I thought I did... Well during the last week of dating him I was hanging out with my Friend Matt and well hanging out his best friend Nick came over out randomly and it's literally like the first time we set eyes on each other we feel for one another.

So we started talking and got REALLY close, and during this time I was telling him about the promise I made to myself and my mom which was "I am not going to date again till I get back off my feet and my life in order because I wanna settle down and start a life because I am done with short term bull shit"... and he agreed.

Basically I had to give up my apartment and quit my job because my mom got cancer and needed someone to take care of her 24/7 since my brother works full time in the military and the other is in college and my dad is only home 1 or 2 days a week, I had to be the one to do it (Not that I am complaining because I had fun and we got closer). Well it's been past the 6months after her surgery and it's time for me to get a new job and move on again...

But me and Nick are getting serious and have been seeing each other for a while, I can honestly say now that I love him, I have never felt this way before. I have dated a lot so trust me I know it's the real thing. He is the nicest, sweetest guy I know and said he will wait because he already feels we are dating. But I feel bad...

SO my question is:
-Should I wait until I get my own place like I promised myself and my mom?
-Should I just say fuck it and date him
- Or date him and just keep him my dirty little secret

I met a guy 2 years ago. Sparks flew that night. Chemistry like I've never felt before. The story of how we met could make a movie. Our paths kept crossing, he hit on me twice and I never called him. Then a good friend wanted to introduce me to her neighbor having no idea we had met already and that's when I sat down and talked to him and fell in love at 3rd sight! Then I hit hard times, lost my job, got raped, fell into extreme depression, gained a lot of weight, One week after I met him. He's still around but our relationship never went anywhere serious as far as titles go. I love him but lately he's been depressed and distant. I've tried to be there but I'm getting tired of waiting... so I started dating. I met a guy I was introduced to a year ago. He's an ideal. He opens doors, conversation is great, takes me on dates. So far it's good but still very early in (2 weeks). Should I stick with the first guy or leave him alone and see where it goes with 2nd one. Or should I keep both of them around til it gets serious with one of them? by the way I do have sex with the guy I love but not the new guy
