Search Results: scared of getting in a relationship

We've been dating for nearly 8 months by now. At some point I've felt that she was withholding some information. She wouldn't share too much about her younger years. Eventually she admitted it all and a couple things were quite strong. However, I'm having a harder time getting over what she did to her younger cousin.

She knew her cousin couldn't swim and rely on an inflatable lifesaver. They were on the swimming pool and all of the sudden my girlfriend (then age 9) called the adults and said her cousin was struggling. Turns out the lifesaver had small holes around it. She made holes with a needle. Though she claimed she never intended for her cousin to drown but only to scare her for a couple seconds.

Two years prior to that incident, there were complains at school about a couple kids falling down or getting a bit hurt every single time she was on the playground with them. She did admitted to me that sometimes she would trip them or push them off the swing, making some of them cry.

This doesn't sound like the girl I met. She's a sweet, cat person and family oriented. She claims to have changed a long time ago and was scared to lose me if she had admitted it all too soon.
