Like so I’m a girl, people say im “attractive” but I have anorexia and depression. Anorexia is an eating disorder, where you starve yourself to be thin. That means even someone 300 pounds can be anorexic. So don’t get the wrong idea and think I’m insanely thin. I am currently pretty thin-average but not super scary thin or anything. I am really kind and caring, but am emotionally unstable I guess, And the main question is, is having mental illnesses a turn off?

The issue is with my mom:

-I always end up arguing with my mom
- when other people are there (sister, cousin) she throws me in the back corner and I’m all of a sudden last priority
-when she runs out of things to say, she’ll bring out negative things about me to say (I had an eating disorder) ... through a joke. Or she’ll toss it into the conversation on “accident”
-I told her i didn’t want to attend my sisters wedding but she’s adamant because it’s a wedding.
-she keeps my dad around who’s been abusive

is this normal? Because on the other hand:
-she still houses me
-she gives my an “allowance”
-she pays all the house bills (I pay my cc)
-she checks in on me every now and then

I want to grow and change, but at the same time I feel like my family relationships are holding me back. It seems like every month I always end up feeling shitty after being with them... one way or another. Is this a normal relationship? Or should I cut ties with her
