The shy girl and he work at the same department and sit pretty close to each other. He knew she likes him but told her he just wants to stay friends. He acts nervous, awkward, and cold only with her. However, at time he will look at her from his desk and acts jealous when she talks to other guys.

The outgoing, confident girl works at another department. They hang out quite often. She dumps guys all the time because she thinks she's better than them. She told another friend that there's no way she and my crush will be something and they're just friends. However, the guy is comfortable with this girl as they are friends for couple years.

The guy is shy, socially awkward, and depressed at times.

So I've met a guy:

Every time he speaks to me he goes as red as what is humanly possible, and stutters a little sometimes. He always seems to be able to have a laugh with me whatever mood he's in. He's just transferred onto my department at work if if he needs help (someone spilled something or he doesn't know where something is etc) he comes to find me to get me to help him even though most of the time he has to walk past 4 or 5 other people before he finds me. Also he takes his breaks at the same time as i do.

I've also noticed (as have others) that he appears online on Facebook a lot more than what he normally does since we started talking on there as well.

The only issues are that I'm 16 months older than him, so when I turn 18 in December, he'll still be 16 until April when he turns 17.
People at work are always bringing us two up with one person even saying "i swear the way you two argue, it's like you're together"
Any idea on what's going on with him? Why'd he tell me to ask him to come if he was just going to make excuses to come? Does he like me?
