I was sleeping with my chocolate lab in my bed. I fell asleep and had a nightmare of being in a big public bathroom. Dirty and dingy the dream takes off with me just washing my face and looking at the mirror. I see the door behind me slowly open (a bathroom stall door) I turn around and its a black shadow cloaked figure. It look like something out of lord of the rings, those huge witch kings. It keeps coming towards me I look back into the mirror and its not in the mirror so I turn back around. It is there slowly floating closer and closer. There's lighting outside through the huge windows and It's dark out. I'm scared and speechless and frozen with terror. The cloaked figure has a black unseen face and it reaches over and grabs me by the shoulder. It starts dragging me away, I keep fighting trying to pull away from it. In my head i'm yelling in terror but I keep trying to yell, "Save me god! Save me!!" But my mouth won't open to yell the words.. My shouts are muffled so I knew in my dream I was shouting but some unseen force wouldn't allow the words out.
I'm not sure if I moved while sleeping, or i was yelling while i slept and my shouts were really muffled in reality. Dog sensed something but I woke up to my lab sorta using his snout to poke me, not sure if he woke me or I woke him. I'm afraid to tell people in case they might laugh, this happened about 4 years ago and I still... find it very disturbing, It hasn't happened since then. But I don't own my dog anymore but as I try and all asleep i'm afraid the nightmare will return and nothing will be there to stop it.
