Search Results: approaching girls i don't know

As someone who finds it a little hard to find a decent, pretty and single girl to date i find myself wondering sometimes, where do the guys my age who have pretty gfs/fiances find them? I know that at least half of them met these girl at school when they were 16-17 and they are still together, others i know they met through friends and rarer cases are of those who actually approached stranger girls and talked to them.

I dated before and i met them through work but i dont work anymore and my previous work place is not really blessed when it comes to women... my friends dont have any girls that are single or attractive and at college 99% of the girls i met who showed interest in me ( a lot show interest and even compliment me ) are taken, so i feel kinda left out... unsure of where to find a girlfriend.

The girl had a crush on me. Even I liked her so I approached her but she said no to me but afterwards she constantly keep giving me signs but I did not approach her. She felt rejected and started acting slutty and slept with a bunch of dudes but still she kept on giving me signs but still i wasn't interested and our university ended.

Now after 3 months when all the students went their home, I got a call from my friend and he said the chic who used to crush on you comitted suicide (since her sister and my friend are mutual friends)
Her sister said she was depressed and we all told her to forget him (me) and move on and she tried but she said that she can't forget him and eventually all of a sudden she hung herself.

The last time I saw her, she made eye contact with me for 10 seconds, her eyes looked swollen as if she has cried and cried for days , her skin looked pale with no glow on it whatsoever, and overall she looked depressed.
Now, no one knows that the dude was me and I feel guilty that I dont know what to do.
Should I go to church and confess, Im paranoid at this moment. Please any suggestions?

Its a pretty long story, but as i want accurate answer, so i will provide all the details.

Two years back, i saw a girl in my coaching (back in india), butterfly in my stomach, felt i am in heaven , blah blah... i had no experience on how to talk to the other gender... after single meet asked her phone no... she replied no need. I felt like a jerk, apoligized for it and concentrated on studies and left for USA after it.(I was in india for 6 months after that, but dint approached her because she wasn't coming to coaching regularly plus her face showed whenever she bumped in hallway that her face is filled with lava). I think (know) she is a sensitive girl (lot of indian girls are like that). Also, in my defense, i just dint asked her number plainly. Was fed up for waiting for days, for her to come to coaching...

NOW today, i am n USA, got job in NASA near washington, she is in CMU, pittsburg will be graduating in 2 months after i reach at my job place which is 3 hours driving from her place.

Should i try to approach her somehow there in pittsburg itself,(i think through FB:if she remember me she might block, i dont know)'
or
should i wait for her to get a job , say she gets in california , secure a job there and move to that place and try there as she won't be moving from there soon and will give me time

AND also only way of approaching her seems to be being her neighbour, i do have her currentno, email address.(Just informing)
