My ex broke up with me back in September, but we’ve still been seeing each other since then. He’s made it clear we aren’t dating, but still kisses me, tells me he loves me and will often ask questions when I’m texting someone in his company like “who’s that..” it’s kind of cute really. Anyways so the other night he asked me to come along with him to grab something for work, and that on the way back we’d get food. So we go meet up with a guy he works with, and I wait in the car. Neither of them can see me as they’re both talking on the opposite side of the car I was in. I overhear my ex say, “yeah I gotta go we’re about to go eat the lady is in the car..” then the guy said “what”? and my ex said “My girlfriend.” I blushed the whole way home. Finally I couldn’t keep it in any longer. He then said that he was sorry but he didn’t feel like explaining the relationship to his friend. I asked why he didn’t just say I was a friend then, and he said that I was so much “more.” Im so confused. Did I catch him slipping? I understand accidentally calling me his girlfriend but he very clearly didn’t do it by mistake as he had to clarify who I was.

Last night, I broke up with my boyfriend last night
I told him I still have trust issues and so I keep thinking he's cheating/talking to other girls
So I felt like there's no point in being in a relationship with someone I don't trust
I said to him: "I love you but I don't trust you, so I have to let you go"
I cried and he hugged me

He said "its okay, do what you gotta do, hope you find that right guy that you will trust, sometimes you gotta let someone you love go, but I will miss you"
And then I left
And then I blocked him on all social media

Then this morning, he sent me an angry message saying this:
"Hey this is last message, but I wanted to say that... I can't believe you never trusted me, we have been together for over 2 years, all women are the same, always treat guys like shit, I tried to be a changed man, I did all the right things for you, I never cheated on you but you still never trusted me, I cried for 10 minutes after you left, you just said bye and left, so Im going to go back to my old f**kboy ways now, I already set up a date for that girl that likes me, and I'm probably going to f**k her tonight, I thought you were different to all the girls I've dated but I guess I was wrong, I really loved you, I can't love anyone else after you, so I'm just going to treat girls like shit, I don't give a shit anymore, so have a good life"

Why would he send me an angry message when last night he hugged me when I was crying and saying its okay?
Do guys get over their ex girlfriend by having s*x with another girl the next day?

He said he has a girlfriend which I doubt but he flirts with me and is very sweet with me he told me that I was beautiful that I’m cute and that he is very lucky to have met me in my school he genuinely seems to like me and I think I want to be his girlfriend but if he has one I don’t want anyone to get hurt but I need him because I need to forget about my ex that hurt me and took me as a joke and I do see potential in me catching feelings for this guy ughh this is so confusing at the same time I want to find a way to make him my boyfriend but without knowing his girlfriend I don’t want her to get hurt
