I drove to meet this guy next state over. We hung out for 1 day and a half. He took me to eat at two restaurants, drove me all over his town, kept slightly touching me and cracking jokes. He cooked dinner for me at his home as well. When I had to leave that night, the car ride to drop me off was silent. He thanked me twice for coming out and kept saying he will be visiting me in Vegas definitely. (I don't believe it until it actually happens) So I hugged him and left. He texted me when he got home and said he really enjoyed hanging out with me and that he would like to get to know me better and he really likes me. So he can't wait to see me in my city. I like him too but I'm being cautious. He texted me this morning hoping that I got home safe. Some red flags that got me were that he still has his exes car mats in his car and couch in his home. His ex was when he was 19 years old. He's 21 now. He lives by himself. I saw no traces of girl things living there despite the couch and car mats. I don't feel any bad intentions but you never know. He told me he did mess with a lot of girls before his ex. He didn't try anything sexual with me either, which I was surprised. Except one notion where he wanted me to show him my tattoos. I think he was trying to get in the mood with that. But when I showed him he did nothing. Do you think he likes me or is he playing with me? Right now I'm at the stage where if he's playing me, idc, because I can cut my feelings off and say we are just friends and there's no use in playing that game.

I'm 17 and my boyfriend is 19. We have been dating for 3 months and are in a long distance relationship but see each other at least once every month. March 9th will make 4. He keeps in contact with his exes and it bothers me. He even said that if she needed help, he would tend to her. Recently we had a dispute over him going to another County to help a "friend" of his out. She's a girl and he says that they've never dated. I don't believe that. He even said that they made a promise years ago that if they were not married by a certain age, they would marry each other. She's pretty much been around since the beginning of our relationship and still is. I never knew about her until the argument we had over him going to "help" her. She locked her keys in her car but yet she has a boyfriend. Why couldn't her boyfriend help her? He even went as far as calling her his Plan B! He said he loves her as a plan b. I don't know wtf that means! I feel he doesn't care about our relationship as much as he says he does. Is there something he's hiding or not telling me? I feel like I know an my gut is telling me he's not worth it but my mind wants to wait it out. We even say I love you but at times I question him about it. He's also having a party on the 20th and his ex is attending. I will not be there. Please help

I really like this guy I work with but things are so hot and cold that I can't figure out what's going on. I got the feeling that he's getting over someone because in a few chats, we've both talked about our exes. He showed me a pic of her too and told me stories about their time dating.

We're pretty close now and text, snapchat, goof off at work and now are starting to hangout outside of work or get lunch. We planned a trip, and he couldn't go for financial reasons. I was sad for him because he didn't make other plans to enjoy his vacation he just bummed around at home, so I got him a souvenir that he keeps in his pocket. He invited me to a concert coming up, I invited him for coffee. During that time he said he doesn't date because he's mentally got too much going on. I didn't decide if I wanted to date yet so I thought that was a bit... premature. I never ask anything to warrant his objections so I always feel like he's just talking to himself. In spite of that we stayed out for 2 hours and closed the cafe. In addition, I got confused because two weeks before he talked about asking out this girl to me and a mutual friend who then turned him down. When he told the story he again said he's too "depressed to date".

So I'm confused trying to figure out if he's interested in me, other girls, or wants to date but is still heartbroken. He planned to take me to the city for this concert, and talked about how we'll spend the day exploring, going to museums, and he mentions it and how he's excited. He keeps me updated on his life and even during a hypothetical, he looked me in my eyes and said he could spend the rest of his life with me. I haven't mentioned wanting to date, but sometimes when I talk to him he tells me how he feels like our generation isn't romantic and we're too physical (which I agree with) and talks about how he won't kiss on the first date because he wants to really get to know someone.
