I have known him for a long time and we've been friends for years. Because of this we share a big group of friends. One of the girls we hang out with used to be his fuck buddy/booty call. Whatever, but I told him I wasn't comfortable with the two of them hanging out alone any more considering their history. Because they were friends with benefits, even casual hang outs for them would be very similar to their old "dates." He said okay. Anyway, yesterday I found out that he's actually been hanging out with that girl whenever he told me he had been golfing with his brother. I told him that I was leaving and that I would be moving out of our apartment at the end of the lease (thank god it's at the end of the month) instead of renewing.
1) he lied to me: aka crossed boundary number one
2) he used that lie to cover for hanging out with his ex-fuck buddy who he had agreed not to see one on one any more (at her house no less).

He is now accusing me of being unreasonable and saying that I'm unfair because my "boundaries" were really an ultimatum. I think this is BS. I told him I wouldn't put up with it if he crossed my boundaries. He crossed them, the consequence is that he loses me. He said that it's an ultimatum because it's like he has to do what I say (not lie or hang out with her), or else i dump him.

Is that an ultimatum?

just background info: we're both 26, we've been together for 2 years, we live together.

I don't know if he hooked up with her/had sex with her or anything, but I don't even care anymore. He lied to me and betrayed me. I'm gone either way, but do you think this is just setting healthy boundaries or was I issuing an ultimatum?

I've been with my boyfriend for 3 months. I knew he had an ex- girlfriend who he was with for over 5 years in the beginning already - it came out while we're talking one day and it sounded like his ex-girlfriend broke up with him because he didn't want to get married but she did (they are both in their 40s). I don't know when they broke up or any other details because I am the type of person who don't ask about past relationships.
I recently saw that he has some videos of him and his ex on his phone (from last year when they're on vacation). Yet, I didn't see the few pictures which we've taken in the beginning of our relationship - there are other pictures and videos that he has taken elsewhere though. I don't feel good about that, but I don't know if I should worry about it.
From the very limited information I have, it sounded like they didn't really have any problems other than him not wanting to get married. In the beginning of our relationship, he's already mentioned how people kept asking him about getting married but no one who he's been with made him want to get married yet; he didn't want kids and that he isn't in a hurry to get married because it would happen when he meets the right person. I'm perfectly fine with it because I'm the same way. He said he's been paying attention to me for two months and that he knew he had to talk with me because I was the one. A month into the relationship, he asked if I was going to marry him - he was shocked himself too saying he couldn't believe he just proposed. He started calling me with his last name, his wife, and mama, and saying how we're going to have a son. I thought they're just things he says to people whom he sees, but he said he has never called anyone "mama" - it just came out as if we're already married and has a family. We see each other often and he's been very nice. He told his friends and family about me. I'm telling myself not to worry about the videos of his ex, but it bothers me a little. Thoughts?

I was seeing a guy and we had an instant connection, and so much chemistry and understanding of each other. He was very aware and sensitive as I am. He told me a week after seeing each other that he was in love with me and wanted to be my boyfriend. I was confused. The next day he said that he rushed things and wanted to take it slow and I agreed. He had 2 months prior broken up with his ex of 3 years who he still worked with and I could tell while we were seeing each other that he was still hurt and healing. We saw each other for a year and a half without the label. I met his friends and parents and family and we all got along really well, and he told me that everyone really like me. I could tell that he was afraid to be vulnerable. But he did say that he was falling for me, and wasn't not ready for everything I had to offer yet. I know we were a bit different because he was really scared of taking emotional risks, and putting himself out there and letting people in. He was insecure in private and said he wasn't good enough, and I always reassured him of what he was worth and the qualities I loved about him. Things were going really well. Leading up to the end we went on 3 dates in a row, and I gave him a bracelet with his name on it that I got from Cuba. And he seemed really touched, and surprised at how much I loved him. He always told me I was beautiful, but he was insecure about being in a relationship with me with a label because I'm South Asian, and he's a white country boy who hadn't been exposed to other cultures, but it was honestly just my skin, because we grew up in the same small town in the same way and had a lot in common. Out of the blue, he changed his relationship status on facebook. I msgd him excitedly, was he making things official with us? Then I found out he decided to be with someone else. I ended communication, but he started texted me and calling me none stop right after he told me :/ What was going on with him emotionally?
