So, I have a OCD thought process. I think of things to the point where they affect me physically. Oddly enough, I obsessively think about sex. And the problem is, is that I'm attracted to anything as long as I obsess about it (and I'm not attracted to the actual person, but just the idea of sex in general).

So, there's this guy that I want to date

Problem 1: I obsess about social sex taboos (group sex, lesbianism, etc.) and I get turned on by them. I can walk past a girl and become completely aroused, but I'm not attracted to her in "that" way. It's the taboo I'm attracted to. Since having sex with a guy isn't taboo, I don't worry or obsess and I don't get turned on. At all.

But, when I got to know his personality, and I get a little, itty bit of feeling down there, though, I'm terrified that I won't be able to get turned on by him (if it ever actually gets that far).

I want to date him and get to know him, I just don't want to end up passing up an opportunity because I'm messed up (he likes me too, and I'm planning on asking him out). I'm currently seeing a therapist, but the next time I get to see him is next week (and I've only met him once...he doesn't know about this part of me and I want to try to start getting it resolved). Though, I don't know what to do. Mentally, I really want to date him, it's just that physically I'm broken. I don't want to end up telling him "Hey, so, I have OCD and really bad anxiety, just so you know, I probably won't get turned on by you".

I also don't want to pass up this opportunity cause he's a great guy...I'm just scared. But at the same time, I'm really tired of being alone because of this, and it's really nice to have someone that I'm interested in, like me back.

Any advice?
