So do people who cheat on, lead others on, left their significant other after cheating tend to live happy lives.. meaning nothing bad happens to them because of their actions (like karma, what goes around type of deal) while their spouse or significant other has to pick up the pieces of a broken heart. Do any of you have stories of people who have cheated who "got theres" so to speak or did not? Thank you for your answers.

I'm seriously starting to doubt, at my age, that there's a guy out there for me.

First serious relationship lasted 6 years. He ended up cheating on me for our last two years together and I kept believing he'd stop. Second serious relationship the guy is afraid of commitment, $70,000 in medical debt (don't even know how much school debt) and no intention of trying to get out of debt. Third serious relationship (current): He's been a bachelor for the last 5 years. It never occurred to him that asking me to be his girlfriend meant he shouldn't get pics from old fuck buddies and he should get off of dating websites. Also he and his buddies enjoy frequenting strip clubs, where he enjoys more than looking.

Am I asking too much from a significant other?

1) He's financially stable: He can pay his own way not mine.

2) Understands monogamy: Anytime you are interacting with another person beyond friendship is unacceptable. Sending/receiving pics and having naked people on you is considered cheating to me.

3) Yea you must look good. I try to maintain a healthy weight and look good. I'm no model and I don't expect that from my guy.

4) And obviously we must want the same things in the long run (ie. religion, family, living)

I'm starting to think I should be a crazy cat lady because it would be easier than trying to find 'him'. I'm still with the current guy but having serious doubts, obviously I'm not enough. He agreed to cut back on the strip clubs, stopped talking to his fuck buddy and quit the dating website, but still? Did I really have to ask you to stop these things. I thought him asking me to be in a relationship meant that these things would stop.

What should I do?
