A: where's my phone?
Me: here, why do you feel naked without it?
A: no, but I haven't talked to my girlfriend all week (diff school)
B: Fuck your girlfriend!
A: I want to!
Me: ugh, really?
A: you're just jealous!
Me: Totally!
B: yeah, she's totally jealous of your meaningless high school relationship!

Why did A say that to me? Just because I don't want to hear him be gross doesn't mean I'm jealous. Does that mean he's thought about us having sex? He went there pretty fast. He knows I don't want to hear what he does with her but he tells me in graphic detail, anyway. I doubt she knows this. Plus he's always discussing sexual things he's seen online with me even though he knows I don't want him to. Why so much talk about sex around me? I told him we all assume he bangs her and we don't want details. Still he makes sure I know that he got laid over the weekend or how he can't wait to get laid and how he doesn't need to go to strip clubs because she'll dance for him. Or he says, out of nowhere, that she likes fur handcuffs and he talks about eating girls out a lot. Classy!

I have a love life but don't tell my friends about it. Is he just incredibly immature for 18 or is he also saying all this stuff to me to seem studly or attractive? He's very competitive and hates being compared to other guys. He shows off and preens a lot around me, too.

My best friend and I were friends for 16 years. Our dads are best friends too and go back to when they were teens. She started changing mostly because of a guy. She became a stalker with him too after he broke up with her. She became a s*** talker, about everyone not just me, very competitive, overall nasty person. Always bitter and showing off. It saddened me cause she used to be so much better. She moved out with a friend even though her dad is severely ill at home. That friend is now her new best friend, and didn't even tell me she moved hours away. And guess why she moved there? Not for work, she has been unemployed for months. Not for school, she doesn't want to go to college. Because her ex bf lives 13 min. away now. She talked so much smack about that guy's new girl saying she's a home wrecker but that didn't stop her from sleeping with him again while he was with her. It disappointed me greatly because I'm not the revenge type of person and you never know if the other girl knew about my friend in the first place, but my friend Definitely knew about that girl! So she's been a horrible person not only best friend. I've distanced myself completely and I know she's noticed. My question is: Should I let her figure it out and focus on me and staying positive or should I tell her everything I feel and leave it to her to change? The reason I have that first option is because I was going through a lot, anxiety and depression included, and I finally found a calm and positive place. I don't want to fall back into a dark and nasty path by having a war with her. Sorry for the essay, but these details matter to me...
