I'm 24 and I only had one girlfriend. I never really got over her. I'm not a cry baby of someone that comes off as a pansy but I'm just honestly beginning to lose hope. I don't have a career. I do work as a personal trainer though. I love with roommates in a nice place. It's not that im lazy because I've attempted and failed so many things. I have a learning disability. I'm not stupid but a university setting is very difficult for me. It doesn't impact my social skills either. I'm going to school but I'm miserable. You'd never know unless I told you.

I think I'm decent looking. I have a great body. I'm a great conversationalist once you get me going but I'm introverted. I have friends but I tend to ignore them these days not even going out. I'm really just losing it and im only getting older. At night it really hits me. I think I'm a pretty badass cool person once you get to know me.

I want to get married and have kids. I want to all that stuff. I'm just getting older and losing hope. All my friends are younger than me so it's a constant reminder. Girls my age are already letting themselves go. Younger girls probably aren't interested.

Last night, I gave the girl I like a note letting her know that I'm interested in her and would like to have coffee or lunch, if not, I'll understand and respect her decision. With the note, I drew something for her, just to do something nice. I also told her that I would be telling you this in person, but you could be working or enjoying your break. I want to respect that.

She later sent me a voicemail saying, "that what I did was really sweet." No one has ever done something like this for her before, she almost cried reading the note I sent her. She said, "I was handsome and awesome, and she felt pretty, but said, I'm too old for you."

She did not say, yes or no to having coffee or lunch, so does this mean I got rejected? I just want to be sure, that's all. I replied to her voice and told her that I understand and I'm fine with being friends. She really respects me now. I would like to add her, but I don't want to mess up the friendship. :)
