My boyfriends ex was best friends with his mother. She treated him like a mother as well. Lecturing, controlling, yelling, etc. They went on vacations together and were texted all the time. My boyfriend dumped her (for obvious reasons) and we have been together for 2 years. His mother doesn't think I talk enough and doesn't make any effort to talk to me or involve me. She still posts about his ex and how much he loves her and keeps pictures of them. My boyfriend and his mom are very close and are like best friends so I care about her opinion. But my feelings are hurt with this.

I don’t know what I did. Everything was going fine and he mentioned being stressed to me, then he suddenly ghosted me. I really don’t know what’s going on. It’s been 5 days since we last talked and I didn’t bother to message him because I really don’t know what to say. He did something like this before but not too extreme, especially since we have a vacation planned coming up soon. I really don’t know what to say or do, these actions are so foreign to me that I don’t know how to react. How can someone I’ve been dating for almost two years suddenly leave and not reach out to me. My sister messaged him and he said he would message me yesterday and I didn’t hear back. Honestly my gut is saying he’s preparing for a breakup because why else would someone ghost a person they supposedly “love” I’m very upset. My flight tickets are also non refundable and I’m just majorly hurt on what just happened and what he did. I would’ve never did what he did to me, not in a million years. I feel pathetic, like I didn’t have a worth till this day. Sure we had fights and some break ups in the past but that’s about it, I don’t know what else I could’ve done to cause this.
