But I do want to share one example that got me thinkin' about this: a couple left a bar and got into an Uber. The lady said she'd left her phone inside. The gentleman unhesitantly promised to find it and he went back in. The (male) driver was as patient as can be with both of them.

Then she started rechecking her pockets and purse, worrying "he's gonna yell at me" if it turned out she hadn't forgotten her phone after all. The driver's sympathy was with her. As it happened, the boyfriend found the phone with little trouble, got back in the car, and the trip began without further delay.

Let's stress that we know little more than the above about each person.

Does the boyfriend have anger management issues? If not, and the worst thing about the relationship is potential annoyance over absent-mindedness, that's actually pretty healthy!

Is the driver's understanding nature a plus? Or could there be a downside if you're trying to relate to someone that mellow?

Did the girlfriend shrug it right off when the anger she feared never happened? Is it possible the driver's demeanor made her realize there's a different kind of guy out there?

Side question: when it comes to your guy getting angry, how often is too often?

i remember at one point I wanted a girlfriend so bad, now I avoid women, especially on social media. I don't even look forward to having a wife anymore lol I just look forward to being successful and taking care of my family that I have now.
