Long story short, I'm interested in a guy. Despite my interest, I'm able to see a guy I like as a friend in case shit hits the fan. I've had a few relatively deep conversations with this guy. I prefer those conversations to small talk and gossip. I actually found him to be an inspiration for me to be a better person. I've told him things about me and my life that I haven't told anyone else around us.

Yesterday, I tried talking to him about a situation I told him about before and he brushed me off like he didn't want any part of the conversation. Today, I felt disrespected. There's a more conventionally pretty girl around these days and I noticed he was very friendly with her. There are a lot of girls that I think are conventionally prettier than me around, but he usually is consistent about speaking to me about our common interests, which made me think he spoke to me because he liked what I have to say. He had longer conversations with other people and had a long conversation with someone around me before addressing me. He was very short with me when he spoke, and he walked away before the conversation could go further. I've been pissed ever since. Granted, he probably picked up that I was annoyed and chose not to speak to me longer, but I took offense to it. The way I see it, there's no reason to treat me like that when, at the very least, I think of him as a potential friend.

So what the hell is his deal? Why is he all of a sudden acting like I'm not worth talking to? Once again, I'm not good with socializing and have no clue why people do what people do when it comes to my own life. I'm going to try to be nice tomorrow, but I really feel like telling him to fuck off if he even tries to talk to me.

Which would you say carries that more out?

I would say men seem more brutal in that area and here is why:

- Girl rejects guy or breaks up with him. If he turns psycho, he can take it too far by stalking her, turning violent and doing something horrible in revenge such as setting her on fire or throwing acid in her face.

- Guy doesn't want the woman. If she's mad as heck at worst she'll usually harrass him online, spread false gossips about him, phone, email or text him a lot, etc. However, I haven't ever heard of a woman (maybe it did happened once but it wasn't heard of) legitimately stalking an ex and setting him on fire like men do nor coming to his house to kill him.

Also, the guys express brutal ways of what they would do to horrible criminals such as pedophiles. Sure, some of us do too but not to that extend of carrying out punishment.

If someone wrongs you while knowing you were hurting at that moment... when is it late for an apology?
I didn't accept an apology 8 years later, from this one girl that tried to get my friends against me (luckily it didn't work), got a boyfriend to break up with me through false gossips and made fun of my then dying grandfather on fb. She was already 16 at the time, too old for that.
