I'm going to university right now in Northern CA.. Home town is here in southern CA.(8 hr drive) I'm on break still, and that's how I was here to witness this. One of my grandfathers wishes is that they keep the house. My grandmother is there and still has a lot of years left. I can't leave her in that house alone.. She can't drive.. she literally has no one. My dad is in and out every other day but that's not enough. My parents both work too much. That's a quick ticket to depression and her death if she stays there like that.

I'm thinking about some how transferring universities to live out here and stay with her. I met my girlfriend up in northern CA at university this semester. Things are going really great. It's seriously going to break me to have to tell my girlfriend that I have to move back here. she's been staying with me during the break.. she didn't expect for any of this to happen and has been really supportive with my family. She's sleeping right behind me rn as I'm typing this. She has a decent amount of time till she is done with school. I know she would wait for me but I don't want to put her through that. She a damn good girl deserves better than that.

Just discovered that I'm in this situation today and have to make a decision quick. Fck man.. I just don't know. I can't leave my grandmother alone like that. My sister is just too wishy washy. She is staying at her place right now but it will probably only be for a week. No one else in the family is stepping up.
