Is he flirting is he gives me a discount? I asked my attorney to come with me to a meeting , i thought the state covered his expenses for this. He said yes , he assumed he would pick me up and drive together. Then the meeting got postponed. The day before the new set meeting he texted me saying that his other meeting in that town got postponed again , so he had to charge me for two hours (400$). I texted back that i thought the state covered this, wish he told me earlier (so i knew it might cost), and that i wasn't sure i could afford it (i'm looking for work).
He texted back saying "as i mentioned the other meeting there got cancelled for the second time , and he couldn't leave the city (1.5 hour drive each way) without getting some of the expenses covered. he would be away from his office half the day.. & He said he understood and just let him know by the end of the day.

So i postponed my meeting trying to figure out what to do. I was annoyed at first that he didn't tell me upfront that he was not covered by the state for this , he knows im unempolyed so 400 $ is a lot to spring on me one day in advance. and why should he work for free anyway, it doesn't make sense.

But then i started thinking : why would he bother to do it for free even if he had another meeting in the area. He still would lose an hour (200$). Also he would charge me for two hours (400$) when he would lose half a days work (3 hours driving, one hour meeting). So strictly proffesional he should charge me for 4 hpurs (800$). He has seemed interested before , stared , lights up and leans forward when i laugh, watched all my snap stories, sends emoticons and a private birthday text with emojis instead of on facebook wall like he does with others (never uses emoticons with others).

why the discount?

My coworker and I flirt a lot. Everyone tells us we act like a couple, etc. I walk into work one day and once I got situated, he suddenly had back pain and would grunt/show signs of pain whenever he bent down or had to get something off the shelves in the office. I would baby him of course and try to help whenever he had to get something. So I started to pay attention to what he was doing so I could offer help since it looked like he was in pain but at some points he would walk perfectly fine (as if the pain was never there). We work with two other people and even they commented on how random the pain was since they were with him that morning and it didn't show until I clocked in. We had to close together that day. The trash gets so full to the point to where the trash bag gets stuck so he usually has to use a lot of pulling to get it out. But he did it with complete ease. No pain, nothing. I don't know. One second he was in pain grunting, limping and complaining and the other second he walked perfectly fine and was lifting boxes. Was he faking it? But why would someone fake an injury? To get babied? Attention? Or am I just reading too into this?
