I'm just curious. I'm a feminist and I know there are lots of anti-feminist sentiments. In the university I go to, the vast majority are very liberal or very socially liberal and fiscally conservative. We live in a very liberal city, but everyone is not from the city, obviously. I notice that when we talk about womens rights and feminism, most of the women here, or at least in the political science, history, and sociology departments, just accept it as a matter of fact that we are feminists. Its not a question, for the most part. It's the default. We all know that this is not reality for the majority of the country, though. Perhaps not even for the majority of this city and definitely not the rest of the state (gets pretty conservative). We study politics, history, etc. We know the deal. Anyway I left my classes today thinking of asking this question. And I just read a post that reminded me of it. :) How many women on gAg identify as feminists? I have a feeling its quite low lol but ill put this out their anyway.
