My best friend is living with this guy that is (for lack of better words) doing her so horrible. He does not come home at night, and leaves her at home stranded. He takes her to work at sometimes just doesn't pick her up afterwards. The latest thing is when Hurricane Ike came.He was missing for 2 days and accidentally hit the wrong button on his phone and excepted her phone call. She could hear him talking to people about getting ice and wanting to know if he could come over and watch TV later. Then a day or two later, he was gone again, left her stranded at home, he was not answering his phone.Well, her daughter went into labor and was at the hospital. She had no way to get there.Except for me to pick her up. Of course I did just that.After all, she is like my daughter also. But, what do you say to your friend when she knows what is going on, but just refuses to stand up for herself. I mean, even her kids won't go over to her house because of her boyfriend. I just don't know what to do anymore.
