OK well my boyfriend is 6 years older than me and it didn't seem like it mattered when we first started dating but now it's starting to seem like we're just not right for each other. We have a son together (it wasn't planned) and have been making it work but we don't live together and he hardly ever comes over to see him I currently don't have a car so I have a difficult time going to see him myself. Some days he'll talk to me and text me but others it's like he doesn't even know me. I'm considering just leaving him but the problem is I still have feelings for him and I don't want to break up with him and realize after that I really love him. I have a lot of trust issues since my parents divorce and since then I've been so messed up I've had depression, was anorexic at one point, and even thought of killing myself. My boyfriend knows this and he has also suffered from depression I just don't know what to do. Also every time I ask him if he wants to be with me he says of course I do and we don't really talk about it and just end up having sex but I'm also worried that if I leave him that it could cause my son to have problems in the future. I want to be the best mom I can be without hurting my son but I also want him to have a good role model for a father.

He went out of town for his uncles birthday. He left the Friday and was to be back on the Sunday. But he never made it home. It was the following week till he called me and asked to drive down to get him and take him to work (he works out of town)! I was so mad I said no. Instead I put his stuff on the bus and sent him there that way.

When he got to work he called me and told me about how he spent his week. He said his friends were mad because of a silly rumor going around he slept with his friends girlfriend. Now if he had left it at that, I would have never questioned it but he talked nothing about that for 3 days. Saying how ugly she was, how he wouldn't touch her, he had me at home and so on and so on for 3 flipping days. I knew something was up.

When he came home he was on his Facebook and he left it open. So I looked and saw a message he sent to buddy apologizing for sleeping with his girlfriend. BUSTED.

When he came home the next day (he went out to my brothers place all night for poker) I confronted him about it telling him a knew and that he had no reason to come home. that's when he told me that he was drunk and it was only a quick make out session. I asked him again, so I got most of the story from him. Later that week I drove up and talked to her. She told me every little dirty detail.

So, now you are up to date. We have talked and decided to work things out. But the trust is gone now. He jokes and acts like nothing happened. Our sex life has dwindled because now I can't seem to get into the mood. I don't think he knows or realizes that I am having a hard time moving on with this.

I even tried to get him back. But by the time I was drunk enough to actually do it, my head was in the toilet. I couldn't do it.

Hes out of town at work and called me to tell me he was getting a ride half way, staying at an old friends house and coming with HER the rest of the way. It took me two days to tell him I wasn't comfortable with that. He said he understood then told me he would stay at his moms till chicky picked him up on the way here.

Just one problem, a tiny part of me thinks he is lying. I want to talk to his mom and find out if he is staying there or with chicky. I want so much to tell him I can't get over it as fast as he would like to. What do I do? Can I get past this? Is a cheater always a cheater?
