Back drop to the story is when I was 19, I ended up in a bad place. Found a guy that I practically loved, but at the same time was going through a bit of turbulence in my life at the time and had to drop out of my university course etc which was completely embarrassing for me.

Anyway, I was drinking heavily at the time each weekend. And then I met this aforementioned guy - and I really really liked him. Like seriously, had never felt like I did about someone before him. Things went swimmingly to begin with, and I forgot about all of the other troubles during that time.

Things had been too good to be true, only for him to decide early on that he didn't want things to go further, and he was also 'bored' because I wouldn't sleep with him. I don't believe in sex before marriage - and it's a good job in that situation that I didn't.

So I was extremely upset at the time, felt even worse than I had before. A few months after the split, he invited me to a house party at his and I agreed to go (naively hoping we'd sort things out).

I went over drunk to find that he'd taken drugs and was trying to pursue a relationship with one of my friends who I'd went to school with.

So me and my friend were sitting together, only two girls at the party, and all the other guys in the room were taunting us with 'you should kiss'. Now, I'm in no way a believer of this kind of thing. But my drunken self saw this as an opportunity to get back at my ex for hurting me like he did.

So we kissed like very briefly, maybe 3-4 seconds and my ex walked in and got extremely annoyed. As I had hoped at that time.

However a now more mature me, who is t-total and settled in another relationship with no contact with my ex still feels extreme regret and shame about what I did. Especially when my motives were as sour as they were. The thought still haunts me, because I stand for the exact opposite of everything I did.

I mean seriously, will I ever lay this to rest? I'm so ashamed.

Guy 1

I was in Portugal recently and I showed him a photo of me and my ex on my phone. He was smiling before I showed him the photo but as soon as I showed him the photo, he stopped smiling. A girl came over and asked him to dance with her and he did. While he was dancing with her, he looked over at me and then danced with her right infront of me after I looked away from him. The next day, he asked me do I have an apartment to myself but he already knew I did. He ignored me for the rest of the week and on the last night of Portugal, he said to me, "You've been a good girl not having any men back to your apartment". He then asked me, "How many men were in your apartment with you?" and I said, "A few" and then he started saying, "You had 20 or 40". I then told him that I don't kiss and tell and he said, "You do. Sure you told everyone about you and Conal". A girl beside him said to him, "Michael, will you stop being so jealous?" and Michael turned to her and he said to her, "Jealous? I'm very jealous".

Guy 2

I was with him last night and he knew I have feelings for him and then he said to me, "I'm in a relationship with someone back home and I might get engaged to her and then eventually end up marrying her but I don't know what might happen".

Do either of these men fancy me or have feelings for me? If any of them do, who?

My best friend used to be with this guy not long ago who would be extremely jealous and sulky even when she talked to other guys. EVERY day, (towards the end), i shit you not, she'd message me about a new fight or problem he had with her. He once even prevented her meeting her PURELY-a-male-friend because he just didn't like how he wanted to meet up with her despite the travelling inconvenience for him.
Basically he's fairly controlling.
And any time they'd fight he'd make her feel guilty about the problem even if that time it was his fault and not hers.

My friend has been in physically abusive relationships before and even then justified them, so this guy seems like a "good guy" to her, which is scary. Just cause he doesn't hit her, he's automatically a "nice guy".

Once she broke up with him because he was overly-protective and clingy, and she needed some space, but somehow he made the situation out to be like "oh baby ill wait for you, come back to me" & "im trying to give you space but I don't know how" as if she was expected to go back to him after some space. When she kissed someone while she was single, he punched the guy she kissed and swore at her and acted like she cheated even though they were broken up. It was like in his mind, he made it out to be that he still owned her.
Her being the easily influenced girl she is, she apologised to him and he kept raging and said "fuck you" to her and everything.
And they broke up finally afterwards and after he kept coming back to her and talking to her and then messaging her how immature she was.
But now she went back to him and apologised. She genuinely thinks she was wrong even though she was single when kissing the other guy, because thats what the ex made her feel. And she says she likes him again now so she'll most likely get back with him.
Help.. whaat tf am i supposed to do?
This is an unhealthy relationship.
