Should most things come naturally?

Maybe I didn't phrase that well... but I am seeing this guy... he pretty much asked me what I liked about past guys I've dated.

I told him I liked the guys who opened doors (some of the time, not always), who were kind of manly man kind of guys, who liked sports, were more aggressive than passive, who prefer to be dominant int he bedroom...

He kind of only started doing these things just recently... after I told him. I don't want him to change for me... idk, is it bad that I told him what I really like and how he's doing it?

I guess that it is hard to describe... It's not that he's trying too hard... it's just that it seems like he's being a certain way to get me to like him more. He knows nothing about sports nor really cares and now he's telling me he's going to have a fantasy football team.

He prefers to be the submissive one in the bedroom and lately it's like he's trying to be what I want...?

So is it bad? I've found that on past dates with other guys that I usually avoid answering this question so they don't pretend to be someone they're not. This guy doesn't seem to mind, I don't think. Although he does seem to be trying a bit hard to impress me.

I can't pinpoint it. Any advice?

So I unfriended my ex-boyfriend from FB because he's just unworthy of me. He is unworthy because he's:

uncommunicative

not respectful towards me

passive aggressive

unmanly

not masculine

etc.

He drinks, sleeps with slutty girls but tells his best friend he is still in love with me, wants me back, etc.

He's a nice guy but unless he changes to be a better version of himself, I don't want to associate with him.

Guys, I'm curious, would step up? What would you do if an ex you still "like" did what I did?

I dated this guy for a month and a half. He's super super nice, but he took things REALLY fast. He wanted to make me his little wife in such a short time... and I got really scared off.

The relationship ended mutually... he initiated it, but I agreed that we had had a great time but our time may need to end. We were connecting emotionally at all. Just after a month and a half of dating he asked to take me to meet his parents... a week later we very suddenly broke up.

He cut me out of his life for a month. I returned all of his stuff, but never got mine back. I finally worked up the courage to ask him if I could have my things back. We've been talking a bit since then. All smiley faces from him... which is not helpful in me getting over him completely. He said I can have my things back and he'll buy whatever he threw out. I feel like that's a little much... in all honesty... it's kind of strange that out of everything he threw away (2 months ago) he still has my toothbrush and remembers the name and brand of the lotion that I had left there. Why did he throw my stuff out in the first place? I at least returned his...

Idk, I think we're attempting to make a stab at the friendship thing. I can't tell though. He's pretty... passive aggressive? All smiley faces and then super business like sometimes. Maybe I should have cut things off, but I genuinely think he's a great guy. I sort of wish we had been friends longer before we dated... and that we had taken things much slower. The 2nd week we were dating we talked about kids, he bought my jewelry. The 4th week we were dating he pretty much explained what he wants in life, what he dislikes about me and likes about me etc. We just moved way way too quickly... it would have worked so much better if we hadn't.

Are we past the point of no return though? Could I ever convince him to get back together with me? Even when we broke up I saw him looking at my mouth... his general sign that he wanted to kiss. He just said that I wasn't "quite" the one and he only wants to date the one. We hardly knew each other though. After a month and a half, can you really know?
