I work at Walmart and I’m a hard worker and the managers say that they like my work ethics. But recently this week for the past 3 days I have been extreme to sick to go in and work because I have high temperatures and body is over heating, bad strep throat, hard coughs, and itchy eyes from pollen. I had to go into the doctor today for it.
But for the past 3 days I have called my manager telling him that I cannot make it into work today because of my sickness. And the only thing he says to me is I’ll make a note of it but you only have 2 days left of abstinence’s and now it’s 1 day left. Walmart only gives you 4 days of abstinence’s every six months even if you’re sick. And my manager was like are you working here or not because you only have 1 day left to be missing from the job? And I told him I am still working there but I am extremely sick. And he has an attitude with me for being sick.
