A little over three years ago, someone very special and memorable walked into my life and changed my view on romantic connections forever. Although what we had was momentary, I couldn't find it in myself to forget about it. Despite the various other guys I dated, quite a few other guys approaching me, and a one year relationship: something about him and what he brought into my life lingered. For f*cks sake, I have been in a relationship for ONE YEAR, yet there's an element of passion and romance missing that I had with this other man. He is my one who got away. *lol, that's sounds so creepy. I swear, I don't mean it in a 'hiding in bushes' way* I know, for a fact the feeling was mutual: at one point, he shaved the first letter of my name into his head and invited me to go to Spain with him. I guess you could kinda sorta call him a lost love. Basically, what we had ended due to a miscommunication and bad timing. At one point, it was almost as if gravity was pushing and pulling us into each other's paths down to the second. We would just ironically show up in the same place at the same time. I always wished it would happen again : (

Three years later, at an entirely higher place in my womanhood, and this guy still manages to captivate some part of me. My feelings for him remain and resurface, no matter how hard I try to push them back down. I don't know what to do: he's gone, I don't have any of his contact info and he may not even be in the state for all I know. So, every Wednesday and Saturday in the month of March, I will be at the place where we met until they close. If I don't see him, then I'm going to have to move on with my life and suppress those feelings no matter what.

I've been frustrated with my bfs past our whole relationship because I was a virgin when I met him at 18 years old and he was 19. He had been with... "4 or 5" girls. Now explain to me how he cannot remember how many... its not a million so is it sometime I should know about or are you truly just giving yourself room in case you remember later. Its been 4 years together and his story hasn't changed so I just let it go... but it bugged me why he couldn't commit to a number. I know everything about him and the major relationships he's had. there's his first girlfriend, the rebound who was like in love with him who got his name tattooed on her (They dated for a couple months but wasn't "official" then the girl right before me which he only dated for about a month... so if you count that's 4 girls in all. Why say there was 4 or so girls before me yet you can only "remember" 3? What is to hide? I already found out the worst... and its my standard of worse not his. I know this is petty Because its before me but does he think I'm stupid or something?
