Search Results: mixed signals from a guy

So I asked a girl out before school ended a couple months ago. It was the first time I actually did it, and I think I came off kind of creepy. I had never really even ranked to her before, but I just straight up told her i really liked her. She politely told me that she has a boyfriend.

that was in early April, and for the next few weeks we ignored each other, but then I started to notice all these signs of liking me from her. She would stare or glance at me every time we crossed paths, usually while playing with her hair. This would literally happen four or five times a day. She would always face my direction when talking to her friends or even another guy. She even tried to speed up and walk next to me in the hallway several times.

I didn't really know what to do, so I never asked her about it, even though I knew I'm sure she was into me, and school ended on that note. I requested to follow her insta and she accepted a day or two later. It took me a few weeks after that but I eventually worked up the courage to DM her. I sent her this message :

Hey. Could we talk?

she hasn't responded and it's been a week or two. Now I asked some friends to investigate, and they've found that she isn't dating anyone.

I do know she liked another guy earlier in the summer, but I don't think it worked out.

Anyway, just a few days ago we had both went to a school meeting and I see her staring and watching me again. Now I'm even more confused, so basically what I'm asking is should I try to talk and get to know her when school starts, especially if she keeps starting, as well as what she has been thinking throughout this whole thing.
