I'm a good driver, have post graduate education, good at sports, high IQ level (apparently, according to comments, never took the test) and good looking (apparently again).
I can: change a tire or motor oil, ride a byke, swim, climb, assemble furniture/display/computer and navigate. I also give a fearless or even daring impression (height, water, forest, etc).
But I look feminine and some people pointed out the contrast to me.
It seems like a curse... please don't laugh, I'm serious.
Until now I mostly dated down (as others said whatever that means) or dated macho jerks. Guys that ask me out are either worshippers (do whatever I tell them) or players (will ask anyone) or are much older (will ask anyone).

How do I interest the other kind?
Should I appear less...(all the above) than I am?
Is there such a thing as an overqualified woman?

Attending college in fall with poor housing, missing the orientation (but being briefed about it), missing the initial classes but not wasting time VS attending college in spring with good housing, being prepared, not missing out on anything but entering a completely different climate and wasting 6 months along with a gap in career?
What's better? Both the options have their own benefits.
For me, a gap in career is big deal. If one aims for dual degrees and a PHD level education, then a gap can't be afforded.
I'm missing out on things in the first option because I applied late. The second spring session option is fine but why not now/fall?
I know I'll feel left out. But is that reason enough to waste 6 more months of my career?
