I do, and more recently I've started to feel more proud of it. Especially in the revelation last year that one of my favorite actors and friend of a friend, Paddy Considine, has AS. Daryl Hannah has also recently become one of my heroes, since I've discovered that she has AS, and I've decided to learn a lot more about her as a person. I have a lot of respect for her. There was even a girl from America's Next Top Model who apparently has it, a few rock/indie musicians, and even some Aussie surfer boy who hoards of NT girls and AS girls alike probably gush over. I found some inspiring, and very attractive, young women on YouTube talking about their AS too.

What really pi$$es me off though... I don't know anyone with it. These girls on YouTube have made friends with it, but no I have never met anyone else with AS. That's not nice... I just really want to meet other people like me. I found a website called aspergerschatcity.com and most of the people on there are yanks, and those that are Limeys live halfway across the country from me at the closest... so apparently the AS who lives closest to me is famous actor Paddy Considine! I'd love to meet girls with AS, because frankly I've never gotten on with girls. I've crushed on them, found loads of them hot, but always felt that they're... like weird or an idiot or just naive and stupid or just a total conformist never ask questions sheep... these AS girls on YouTube seem like girls I might actually be able to get on with... for the first time I'm seeing young, attractive girls who make sense to my warped mind. But yeah I've googled and such, and there is just the one (above mentioned) AS dating site, no AS groups in my area whatsoever... gosh damn it pi$$es me off. I really want to meet other people like me but dang it's not easy...

...that's just a rant that rolled outta' me, here's the real point of the post, the question. Do you have AS? ...see I'm finding that it's more common than I had thought, so I'm just interested is all. I wouldn't mind chatting with another AS either, because seriously I have never even spoken to another one... at least not knowingly. So if you want to chat, I dig that.

There are many people (some on this site as well; I've been here on GaG for awhile) that seem to get SO OFFENDED when they're asked about why they abstain from dating certain races of people, EVEN IF they are attracted to the person's looks and personality.

I understand reasons such as heavy clashing of culture (raising a family, marriage, sexuality, etc.), or not finding many people attractive of a certain race. That I understand.

These people will say thing such as "i like to stick to my own kind", or "i just don't like (insert race) guys/girls", or my FAVORITE cop-out reason..."it's my preference".

To be blunt, I truly, sincerely, 100% believe, that people of both genders that have this defensive attitude of stark offense in regards to dating a person of a certain race,

are either "stuck on the social stereotypes" of that race, or truly are racist towards that group to a certain degree.
