I find this interesting. I do feel like sometimes people try to hide their interest in a person to avoid rejection or other people knowing about it. At the same time, I'm aware that people overthink actions and situations which leads them to believe that there are mixed signals.

I, for one, think mixed signals exist. There was a guy who told me he liked me, and I never knew he did because he asked me dating advice, tried to set me up with his friend, and kept calling me "sis", "one of the guys", etc. I always saw him as a friend because of that. Now I'm dealing with what I believe are mixed signals again, but this guy hasn't done what the last guy has done. I think he's just being really nice and friendly one day, and might be into me the next day.

What do you think? Give some examples of mixed signals you've experienced/sent out, if you want.

So I've been speaking to this guy for a few months now. First month we texted everyday, he to respond to my messages instantly and he called me occasionally. He's a really shy guy and he has told me a couple of times that he suffers from anxiety, he has a history of drug abuse and he promised he's clean now.


I heard less of him in the second month because he was busy with work. He sent me the occasional text. Then he went through a phase of only texting and calling me whenever he was drunk out of his mind. I have received a few sober texts from him since but it's just a quick 'hello' and 'how are you?' and he's always one of the first ones to view my snapchat stories. Three weeks ago he said that he's going to make time to meet up with me and take me on a date etc. Over the last two weeks I've asked him to give me a specific date to meet up but he's dodged the question every time I've asked. He has left me on 'read' for days and has not said a thing to me! He has viewed my Snapchat stories and has been posting on Instagram.

I really don't know what's going on, I am crazy for this guy but I am so lost right now. Is he still into me?
