Search Results: does he like you dance

I met this guy on a party in January. We have a few mutual friends. We danced together and made out. He wanted me to go home with him, but I didn't. He studies abroad, so he left in a few days and we didn't see each other although he wanted to see me, but I really didn't have any time. So we met again in March, when he came back home for a week. We made out again and he wanted me to go home with him again, but I didn't go, because I thought it was too soon. In July we met again, we went to a park together, and he asked me: "What are we?". I was scared, and I lied that we'll just have sex (but I really like him and care for him). So we had sex (it was my first time and he knew that). And before he left, he said, that I need someone to disappoint me, to see how that feels. We didn't talk after this. Two weeks later I wrote him that I didn't meant what I said, and that I care about him, I was just scared of his response... He replied that AT THE MOMENT, he doesn't want anything with me.
I should also mention that 2 weeks later, he went on student exchange for one semester, he comes back home in January. Lately he also stopped watching my instagram stories, although he sometimes likes my posts.
Another thing is, that we have a mutual friend, and I think she likes him and is lying to him about my intentions. Because I also found out that she was lying to me about his intentions. And she wanted me to think they are really close friends, but he told me that they never hang out and rarely talk. So whenever I am with him I can't stop myself from mentioning her, and keep worrying what she is going to say (which is probably really annoying to him)...

So, I have a few questions:
1) do you think he likes me? why did he say he wants nothing at the moment?
2) why did he stop watching my instagram stories? (is he just trying to distance himself and forget about me)
3) what should I do about it, because I can't stop thinking about him
