Search Results: ex is getting married

So we broke up about 2 weeks ago. Long story short we were in a LDR, we were at 2 different places in our lives (me on my last year of school, her being done with school since 2012, and just working at her job, she wants to start moving towards getting married and having kids while I don't quite want to think about that till I'm done with school for obvious reasons). She felt like she was on the sidelines (school my main focus) and was tired of it. She broke it off due to the obvious frustrations and problems which I respect and understand. I started the no contact rule about a week ago. She just texted me yesterday saying "Hi... just wanted to see how you are doing?" I guess I'm confused as I'm sure she knows how I'm feeling (as anyone would during a break up), so why would she ask, and being the in no contact phase should I say anything? I don't have intentions to respond since I'm in the no contact phase but I'm just curious if I should and if I should how would I?

Okay, my exgf and I broke up just over a week ago. It was a long distance relationship I'm in school (I served in the military before school) and she's been done for a while (little info she is dead set on getting married and having kids). She's been frustrated because I've been so focused on school (less than a year left) and she felt like she was on the sidelines. Anyway, she said she couldn't do it anymore she still loves me but she needed to break up with me. So right after the break up she of course did the usual changing of the guard (profile pic, relationship status well she hid it, and took down most of our photos). However, she still has one on facebook left of her and I while at WDW, and one of me and her on Instagram but she also has photos of my daughter, birthday and valentines gifts up, and if you check the caption it is obvious that it is an old boyfriend (me). With all of her other bfs she deletes them from history completely (I can't even see any evidence of previous ex's). She did say she would be open to the possibility of something once I finished school and lived in the place I had my job and started my career. Does her leaving stuff up mean anything or is it something I shouldn't read into?

So my girlfriend ( ex now ) broke up with me because of my stance on marriage. We were together for a year and she kept talking about getting married in the future, then she asked my opinion on it. I'll quote myself.


" I feel like marriage destroys a relationship. I mean you see it everywhere, a wife and husband basically hate each other after a while most of the time, and I don't want that. Like when you always complain to me about how your mom and dad hate each other and how your mom constantly cheats on him with co workers and don't get me started on the scary legal ties on getting married. I really don't want to get married, marriage really scares me and I feel like we'd be much happier that way, I mean it doesn't mean anything, all it is. is just legal documents, a party, and a ring. if you want rings and parties I can get you that but I don't believe in marriage, sorry. "


Or I said something along the lines of that and she just flipped and cried and was all like " YOU DONT CARE ABOUT ME " which really hurt because she didn't see my side at all and she sent a text saying she'd broken up with me, I asked her to stay but I guess she really did mean it. Am I wrong for being afraid of marriage?
