So there's this chick, and we're both seniors in high school graduating right about now. I've known her for like a year, but we're more acquaintances than friends really. But until like the past month, she showed signs of interest and I eventually asked her to the school prom, because why the hell not. We also had this party and when I tried dancing with this other chick she'd come interrupt and make me dance with her. So anyway with the prom, we held hands, danced, she slept on my lap the ride home, and I got a kiss on the cheek.

So now I'm interested in starting a relationship, but now she doesn't talk as frequently as before and has me shot down every time I wanted to hang (once at night and during the day. she had her reasons though).

I don't know what to do. What should I do anyway? These mixed signals...

So I meet this girl my sophomore year of high school, in marching band. Long story short, we went out once and offically "dated" for two months later sophomore year. The break up was mutual, realizing that we really didn't have time for a relationship. It was also my first relationship along with hers. We remained good friends ever since. Fast foward to Senior Year of high school. Due to my job, I saw her a lot, and then I got reassigned. Even though we go to the same school, I went from seeing her almost daily to almost never. When she found out about an opportunity to where I could get reassigned so that I would see her, she talked to my bosses and got me transfered to a shift that I would see her. When prom came, she was going with another guy as friends, and I was going with another girl as friends. When she found out she really wanted to make a group, so I agreed. (She also made a big deal, about NOT wanting to date her prom friind) In the past two weeks, we have texted more and talked about just about everything. Which is very unusual for her. She has also invited me to come to a few of her track meets, which due to different reasons I have not been able to make. (I do plan on possably going to susprise her at the state finals next weekend) The other big tip was when she invited me to go out with her and her friends to lunch, and insisted that I sit right next to her. Same thing happened at a friend of her's grad party, she invited me to come and then set it up so I would have to sit next to her. Im just not sure of what to do next. Her friends have aggreed that she is acting kind of strange around me, they just are not sure what it means though. However, her friends are confident that she does not want to date the guy she went to prom with. Sould I ask her out? The only issue is that she has said to her friends she does not want a summer fling, because she will be going away (2 hour drive) away from home for college). Im just so unsure about what to do.

Long story short during my last year of high school I chased this girl I really liked for most of the year. I fucked up from the being. I asked her out and she said yeah sure when. Me being the biggest dumbass in the fucking world said I don't know whenever you want? I still went after her during my last year of high school. I always had a crush on her since I saw her. She has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen I'm my live and she's so down to earth. I went after her until one day near the end of HS she said she wanted to be single, and she went to prom alone. It's been almost a year since we have seen each other and we haven't talked since. I just got out of a "2 month online long distance relationship" and that girl really hurt me which kinda made me realize how much I still like my high school crush. A friend told me that why don't I go after her. I told him it's been a long time and I haven't talked to her in a long time. I still have her on Facebook. My friend told me that I should message her. Would it be weird or awkward if I message her. Take in consideration that I haven't talked to her in almost a year and I spent most of my 12 grade after her. So should I go after her.

Girls if a guy that liked you messaged you would it be weird and can you please give me advice on how not to fuck it up this time.
