It's a free country; you can change your name to whatever you want.
As for the pronouns, yes I know having a brain that develops like the opposite gender but that isn't relevant to the way that I treat them. a lot of people think that trans people are deluded into thinking they are biologically the other gender but this is a gross oversimplification. Their are differences in the male and female brain that makes it function differently. A male to female's brain will experience things the way a female brain does and vice versa. A common argument used against trans-acceptance is that one can't change their age like their gender. This may be true but if someone had a neurological disorder that stunted their neurological development so it will be at the level of a child all of their life, you wouldn't treat the individual like an adult just because they chronologically are an adult.
