so you have seen crap in your life, cheating partners, lack of manners, ill behavior, your children being abused, yourself being wasted, fell for drugs, suffering from cigarettes long-term effects, a f***ed up soul because of overdoses of weekly/daily social alcoholism, wasting time on people that were using you for sex or to fill up their empty lives... unstable marriage... etc etc, the list never ends, don't think all gods passengers have just set it right for us thousands of years ago?

all religions say do not get involved in unpromising relationships and only love one person and marry them, all religions say do not drink, do not waste yourself, do not take things that will screw you up like drugs, all religions want families to be firm, tight and warm...

do you think what western communities are suffering from nowadays is due to denying what we all should have been following, or do you think we were going to make it right if we got rid of the evil people amongst us whether we followed holy books or not, or you think the religions itself are what screwing us up and we should get rid of all that eventually?
