Yeah I was trying to symbolize the fact that they're family was falling apart and at the very end of the series they will all be separated and betray one another. I found my idea of symboling this very disturbing. Even playing this though my mind makes it worst.

In short we started dating 3 and a half years ago, we broke up twice and we got back together after some time, a few months ago things fell apart abit and we talked and opened up and now have been doing very well. Things are quite serious now. after things falling apart my mum seems to have the impression that he and I are just friends I don't really want it to be a whole big thing but she makes everything into a big deal, so how do I break it to her that's she wrong and we are still together?
Just to note she gets very angry very easily and though I am moving out soon I still live in the family home with her at the moment and can't afford to have her mad with me.

Is this set up too depressing and predictable?

So there's a boy who lives in a run down building. ( wall shedding, falling apart, old paint, dirty water the house looks like a tornado hit it. And this boy ( let's say he's 15) has to care for his very overweight mother who has cancer. Since there house is so small and she's so fat she's bed written. The boy has to care for all her needs. Dad works and tries to pay for treatments. Since most of the doctors in their town died from the cancer outbreak. School is canceled in most places of the city because most teachers, parents random kids died from cancer. the streets are vacant, most people are weird, crazy and violent. Ever since the outbreak even the people without cancer went insane. A car even ran into his house. He stays inside most of the time but only goes out to buy food. People gaze at him like they want to eat him most of the time. So...
