I met this wonderful girl some time ago and really like her from the moment I met her. She is very good friends with my ex best friend. I fell out with in High School, I haven't spoken to him for 7 years. We fell out after we found out we were both being led on by the same girl. Long story but he stayed with her after she turned the situation on me and made out she hadn't been leading me on and only wanted him.
So I met this girl, we had lunch, we talked and laughed together and got on really well. She then started to get really distant lie about being away when I wanted to see her etc. Then she sent me a weird text saying "Your a really nice guy and don't deserve to be led on". She eventually added me on Facebook and we chat sometimes she always uses lots of smileys but avoids telling me much about herself. Also a lot of her profile seems to be hidden from me (I think im on some kind of restricted list despite the fact she added me not the other way around).

She gave me her steam details and told me to add her. This guy 'likes' all of her instagram photos and i'm beginning to wonder if he has put her off me.

I dropped by her house the other day and she had me in and made me a coffee and we chatted/laughed for about 45 mins

My question is if she doesn't wanna be friends why still talk to me? :S

I went on a strange date today. Met this girl at the bookstore yesterday. We chatted up for 5 minutes and I asked to exchange numbers. We then texted for a majority of the night, we added each other on Facebook and then I asked her on a date for today... nothing major, just to grab coffee with me and she agreed.

I met her at the coffee shop today, and she was acting funny. When I showed up, she seemed kinda serious and withdrawn.

When I go on dates, I am a really bubbly guy, always talking, cracking jokes, complimenting the girl (if she looks nice), asking questions about the girl and just being personable.

During the date, she was checking her cell phone a lot. I also kept asking her questions and she was answering them... but she didn't really seem invested. And as soon as I would stop talking the conversation would die.

The date literally lasted 10 minutes. At the beginning of the date, she told me had to leave soon to meet her mother and grandmother for dinner. Prior to the date, she was hanging with them for 3 hours (she told me through text prior to the date). So after we finished our coffee, she left and she unfriended me on Facebook an hour later.

Did I do something wrong?
