Search Results: should i make a move or wait

Been with my boyfriend 5 years. When we first started seeing each other he had his own place and I had just moved out of my place and was staying with my mum. He had his kids living with him so instead of inviting him to my mums it just made sense to go over to his place to save the hassle of him getting a babysitter. This went on for about 6 mths. So because of the way I was brought up I would never just invite myself over to his place (even tho he said I was welcome to anytime) I would just wait to be invited and sometimes it would cause a bit of tension as we both really wanted to see each other all the time but was both annoyed of having to be the one to make the first move. Anyway the kids went to live with their mother and he lost the house and moved in with his mum. Not long after that I got my own place and offered him to move in with me he did for about 9 months then moved into his brothers and stayed there for the next 2 years. So now he has his own place and his kids back again and I've unfortunately had to move back to my mums. Now the same thing is happening again. I told him that while yes I have invited myself over a few times it's still nice to be thought of and invited around. Also if he invites me over for dinner he won't ask me to stay the night he just expects me to automatically stay or if I go home he doesn't even care. So now we're starting to grow apart because we only see each other once or twice a week ( he has no problem with it) He says it's all my fault and that he's sick of always asking me to come over/stay and my argument is that it's his house and it's up to him. I'm just trying not to impose out of respect for him and his kids but he thinks I'm just being difficult. I'm starting to feel like this relationship is just a friends with benefits thing now. So my question is how do other people handle this kind of situation should I just "snap out of it" and invite myself or wtf should I do?

I've been getting hot and cold signals from one of my guy friends i have known for several years, as to whether he is interested in me. Last time I mentioned getting together with another guy he ignored me for several days.
A couple weeks ago I got a set of movies we keep talking about marathon watching. He was so excited about it he could barely stand it. But I've asked him twice when he's coming over (since I have a 4k and all we have wanted to do is watch these on it) and he keeps telling me he will get back to me, and he never does (but we still talk on the reg, he just never mentions when he wants to get together for that). I had a guy over and we ended up watching two of them, after I told my friend I would wait on him. I was tired of waiting on him ( to make a move as well as come over) and decided I might as well since it was silly to wait on a guy that obviously wasn't trying to hard (I even threw out the days we both didn't work) even though we've been talking about this for a couple months. Would it be wrong to tell him how amazing it was and I gave up waiting on him even though I told him I would wait (especially since he might get upset when he finds out it was with another guy)
