Ladies... if a man was 25, finished college, had a career, a car, perfect credit score, was financially secure... but no place (yet)... would you date him?

Okay, go ahead. Laugh at me. Call me lazy. Call me selfish. Call me a loser. I've heard it all.

I'm currently 25 years old and I finished college in the summer of 2014 with $30,000 worth of student debt. After all my friends finished college, they all got jobs, started working moved out and a majority of them are living with 2-3 roommates or living alone, paycheck by paycheck.

After college, I moved back home and it took me 7 months to find a job. I started working, started paying down my student loan debt... and now I have enough money to pay it off in full. I am debt free now. My parents told me they like having me around and they said I could stay as long as I like. I am moving out at the end of the year... but I am currently saving up for a new car before I move out.

On the dating scene, I always hear women say that if a man doesn't have his own place, they won't date him. HOWEVER... women will happily date a guy who is in a gang, has a low level job, has virtually no income, no car, etc, etc, etc... but if a guy doesn't have his own place, he is worthless.

I understand the perks of having your own place... but any idiot can move out and get their own place. All the people I have met who moved out immediately after college or way too young, are living with a lot of roommates or paycheck to paycheck.

A smart man would wait until he is ready, make sure he is financially set and then get his own place to ensure he doesn't have to live paycheck to paycheck or with 10 other people.

I think about finances often... but because of student loans, I was never really able to focus on my retirement until now. I am 25, opened up a retirement account, and I have just started contributing to it.

Do you have a retirement account? Why or why not?

Okay, let me explain my situation at the moment.

I am currently 50,000 dollars in debt from student loans. I have about two months worth of payments left in my bank account (I own my own home so most of my saved money goes to that first).

I am currently in between jobs. I was PREVIOUSLY a Hardware and Technical Support Technician (fix computers, set up servers, etc). I JUST completed my schooling to become a PROGRAMMER (better pay, and specializes in creating apps).

I NEED a job, like, RIGHT now. My bills will not pay for themselves and the interest is only getting worse. However, on my plate I have two options.

A - A technical support job that pays 50,000 dollars a year, and I can start as soon as March 14th, which is pretty much right away. I am 100 percent sure I can land this job. Unfortunately, I will be back to doing what I already know, I am not expanding my career or my education in anyway taking this job.

B - A entry level programming job that starts me off at 80,000 dollars a year, with an excellent chance of advancement. I am about 75 percent sure I can land this job, and the interview process is in 3 tiers, it will take about a whole month just to complete the entire interview process. Landing this job will definitely take some time, IF I can even land it.

Which road should I take? If I take choice B, I will lose choice A, they are not willing to wait a whole month for me to choose.
