Search Results: talking to girls on the street

I'll cut a long story short, I am a 22 year old shy guy very inexperienced with women. Never kissed/dated/hung out etc.

I was introduced to the daughter of a family friend for the first time last November, I was instantly attracted to her. She is two years younger than me I am told. She smiled and spoke the first time we met but I just went red and alternated between looking at the floor and staring at her. This happened once more with her talking/smiling and me looking at the floor then I didn't see her for several months.

A couple of months ago I ran into her on the street across from the shop where she works. She smiled at me from across the street and called over to me. I responded by just mumbling Hi (Her name) got into my car and went home. I could have kicked myself for not talking to her/getting her number.

Since then I have tried several times to intentionally 'run into' her in the same place. I have seen her a few times but never had an opportunity to speak. She has seen me there a number of times, but has not acknowledged me like she used to. She has waved from her car several times when we pass each other. Have I come across as creepy, is this normal for a shy guy like me?

What should I do?
