Okay so I need help with this one!

So I'm one of those really chilled out, happy, fun girls. I've always had lots of friends that are guys but almost never had any guys show any interest in me at all, and i've never had a boyfriend or anything even close to a relationship. My friends tell me I'm pretty with blue/green eyes and long blonde wavy hair, I'm slim with big boobs and big bum. My friends also keep telling me that I'm a super cool and lovely girl with a great, lovable personality and very soon i'll find someone that really likes me for me. One of my friends (who is in a relationship and has no feelings towards me before anyone says, he's like a brother to me) told me the other day that I deserve the best of the best of guys because i'm too good for anyone else. This sounds like I'm bragging, but I promise i'm not at all, i'm just trying to paint a picture.

Anyway one night a few months ago, all my friends and I went out for a night out along with the rest of the village (it was a big party). I was just chatting to my friends and being my usual playful, slightly crazy self, when I saw this guy staring at me from across the room. He was with his best mate and they were both saying things to each other and smiling, then he looked at me and gave me a big smile (this went on for a while, at least 10 mins straight). My best friend noticed them looking first and showed me and i gave him a big smile back. (Just some background information. I've known this guy, but not very well, for a while. I often saw him at the pub and occasionally had a chat but nothing more really. He had had a girlfriend of 2/3 years so i hadn't ever given him a second look, but at this point he had just split up with his girlfriend.)

So, there's this guy who's kind of known as a player in my school. We talked for a bit online and he started to develop real feelings for me. I couldn't see past his reputation and he got over me. Flash forward 6 months and we are in my room making out. Neither one of us wants a relationship. He asked to be friends with benefits but I said no. He mentioned that he's thinking of getting a girlfriend and a week later he was with somebody. They broke up so yesterday we were chatting on a bench and wound up kissing again. He mentioned something about how he sees kisses more "romantic" than sexual and how he's considering getting a girlfriend again. I ask who he just said "anybody really." But I won't get my hopes up because he also asked me to give him a BJ. I just wanna hear from guys what this kinda behaviour is and if I'm reading too much into it or if there's an actual reason he keeps mentioning romance and dating etc.

Also should I risk catching feelings?
