There's this guy that tried talking to me about 2 years ago when I was a senior in HS and basically I just turned him down. Now 2 years later I feel like we've switched places..

-For about a week he was texting me nearly every day w/ good morning and good night, etc. Asked me to go out sometime.. Then the texting slowed down.
-He texted me one time when he was really drunk telling me that he "liked me" and was saying all these things.
-He'll snapchat me, like a bunch of my stuff, text me randomly.
- I texted him first the last 3 times and the first time he was like "wow you're finally texting me first, I thought you didn't want to talk to me".

Im terrible at talking to guys and he's really the first one I've let in for the past 2 years so I have no idea whats even going on. I do this thing when someone hints they want to go out or something that I just dodge the question completely and not even meaning to.. I feel like im making him think I dont want to talk to him but I don't know.

Does he want to talk to me? If he does, why won't he just text me?

Do I have a chance?

Ok so, I have been into this grl foir a while, a few months. I was getting mixed signals, she keeps hanging out but won't talk or shell ask me out but she doesn't act like she's interested when we hang out.. For a while I thought maybe she is shy. But then how can shge ask me out. So I got tired of it, and i finally asked her 'what he wanted from me.' She said :

"Don't ask me that. I don't want you to do what you think i want, I want you to do what you want, and let me DECIDE if what you want is something I want, and or can be compatible with. If you are acting just to get something, then we will never know if we would work together.. Stop treating me like I am playing games, just because I want you to be honest in what you say and what you do--To be who who you really are insterad of trying to figure me out and control everything. "

Guys im really confused. I did not think i was doing all of this, but maybe i was / am. Is she saying she might actually want something? Am i reading that wrong? I can not tell if she is rejecting me, or saying she is considering me. What do you think?

I am just thinking what the hell is up.
Do I have a chance, What is she asking?
Is it a cofde for something, do you think its a game?
Is she toying with me, or is it possible I have not been clear?
Is this a normal way for her to talk?

Did i mess up my chances being quiet.
I know i paused too long, but it was out of no where.

I know I seem inexperienced but I have had gfs.. I just do not understand her. She is just different. But I do like her. But I feel so dumb around her sometimes. We are not even having sex. Not to be a jerk but its been months and we are not dating or having sex, so I just dont understand and I feel like she is blaming me... Is it my fault? This is like a headace that will not leave. Not her, just this.
