So I’ve done it all, one night stands, constant hook ups, waited until the third or fifth date. Not have sex until after a couple of months. But none seem to workout... considering that I’m still single. I think I’m a decent looking girl and I’m very smart (glad guys nowadays find this attractive though some are still intimidated by it) but for the life of me I haven’t been able to find a boyfriend after 2.5 years. I’m not sure if it has to do with the sex, those that I had sex with after the first/few dates didn’t stay but neither did the ones I had sex with after a while. So when is the right time. I’ve gotten all kind of opinions from guys on this topic, some day don’t do it on the first day, guys like the chase other say it doesn’t matter... but it does.

My boyfriend of 2 months dumped me:
I texted him as I got home and said:

3 days later- He later texted me and said:
“Dear Omneya
I’ve been sitting here thinking about all the things I wanted to apologize to you for. All the pain we caused each other. Everything I put on you. Everything I needed you to be or needed you to say. I’m sorry for that. I’ll always love you and you helped make me who I am. I just wanted you to know there will be a piece of you in me always, and I’m grateful for that. Whatever someone you become, and wherever you are in the world, I’m sending you love. You will always be part of my life

Does that mean he regrets losing me? Should I text back?
It was so intense when he dumped me. He never respected me, and had a big ego. He gave out his bare minimum in the relationship. And never fully loved me. I was also toxic, I always pleased him and questioned his love for me. I was also dramatic to him (but I just did things straight from my heart. I felt it all unlike himself).
And when I stopped talking he waited 2 weeks to care to ask, and then I failed to tell him what he had done because I was hurt and was afraid to hurt him, so he dumped me... I felt bad for not giving him closure but he knows he repeatedly fucked me over when I gave it my all with him...
