When I logically lay out statistics and biology as to why promiscuous behavior is toxic to relationships and the individual, the default response is that men are insecure. My response to that is, what's wrong with having some insecurity? I don't know what guy who wouldn't be at least a little insecure dating a girl who has a huge sex history and reputation for putting out for almost anyone. Logically, it makes more sense that they have a higher chance of straying. It's only natural for those insecurities to arise at some point in the relationship, and to suggest that you're supposed to be entirely absent of this insecurity even when your girl has a strong history indicating a higher chance of infidelity seems irrational.

I think I have a unique understanding to the topic given that I've been on both sides. The thing is, I slept around a lot during my college years. I experienced first hand what it was like, and I can personally attest that it's very toxic. When I dated, and girls knew my reputation, I completely understood as to why they had trouble trusting me or if they didn't want to emotionally invest into me. I didn't shame them and force my lifestyle down people's throats expecting acceptance. That's very immature in my opinion.

But concluding, why is it a crime for a woman or man to feel insecure being with someone who statistically has the highest chance of cheating, or straying? Why would it be a crime to be insecure when you're wondering how you compare to his/her huge list? These are very natural responses to promiscuous behavior. No man or woman wants to imagine their life partner being fucked by a ton of strangers who didn't give a shit about them. No man wants to imagine his wife being used as a locker room story about her in her most intimate state. That's degrading.

Because of our resident nazi and/or nazi sympathizer. I thought it imperative that people here get a understanding of the good ole nazis and their philosophy.

Someone here claimed Nazis were a non-liberal political party, I guess. The nazis are not a non-liberal political party. They are a inhuman political party. And GaG should be expunging every take, every question, and every post that celebrates, legitimatizes, or excuses their behavior, their deeds and their ideology. How this forum tolerates somone confusing the nazi genocidal insane beliefs, ideology, etc. with the American brand of Conservatism. I say "American-brand", because the European version of Conservatism is a far cry from what we have in America. The debates that are had overseas are not possible here. But anyway, I digress.

Whether you believe in the Jewish Holocaust or not, is actually besides the point. Because it is funny to see resident racists and nonsensical "White" nationalist embrace them. Since in the original Nazi religion, most would have been excluded from being apart of the "aryan" race. And for those who claim to be the American affiliated nazis, it is even more hilarious. The nazis brutally murdered American POWs in WWII. Men who have surrendered and were being held prisoner. This happened while the Allies fed and cared for nazis who were captured in battle.

So to me punching a nazi is wrong, of course. But let's call things what they are. Nazis are members of a brutal, lying, manipulating murdering cult. End of story. They are not apart of any brand of Conservatism.

I thought we were done arguing about the master race. But GaG never ceases to surprise and entertain.

I started to develop interest in understanding people which lead to this question. It came out of wanting to understand my own behaviors... I'm straight.. but I have my recurring patterns. But I've been friends with gay, worked with and for gay/lesbian, and I've meet some T people along the way.

The cliff notes version is this... his father committed suicide (family trauma), he was abused by other men for years, he became an abuser and was finally healed later in life, after almost dying of AIDS.

There is a lot you can gain from this authors life experience, as tragic as it is, maybe it will help save a few others.

My other question is more probing. Do you now first hand anyone who was abused against their will and did you do anything about it? Have you thought about what you can do now to heal within yourself or the other?

In my life example: When I was about 14, a younger neighbor bragged to a group of kids raping his little sister. He was a real piece of dirt, a liar, a coward as a kid, lacked a conscience. I didn't know what to make of it and didn't react. As I saw his sister some time later, she seemed traumatized. I regret just letting it go and not informing someone who could intervene. I didn't realize how impactful that would be to someone and I'd receive my own abuse, and just figure you take it as that is life. I don't think either of those two are alive anymore.

Damage is occurring all around us. We have opportunities in life to change lives, for better or worse... all day long! Be aware, be skilled and know that silence... is acceptance.
