My boyfriend just broke up with me because he said he simply wasn't happy. We used to be fine until he started playing on the tennis team and there was a girl who flirted with him all the time. We had already broken up once because he still has feelings for his ex girlfriend. Was it understandable to still be skeptical about other girls flirting with him all the time? I feel like he lost interest in me because the other girl. All I want to know is do you think he misses the times when we were happy and so in love? I just want to know what you guys would do. We used to be the cutest couple in the whole school before he hung out with the other girl at tennis. Would you all miss me. I would have done anything for him. I still love him. Tennis is over now and he's not around that girl anymore. I cried at school for days and its been almost 20 since we broke up. I still cry a little. Im not that close to my parents and he was who I went to talk to when I had a problem and he made it easier. Well us breaking up is a problem and I can't talk to him about it. Im broken.

Ok, so i'm in highschool, 15, female. I will give some back ground. I will use fake names. Tim is my ex and Ben is my current interest. Tim and I are kinda not friends but not unfriends, we were together a year ago. Tim and I are friends of a casual nature. Ben and Tim are in most of my classes, one of them being sport. I was walking around with Ben setting up some sport stuff. the joke was something to do with drugs, and I replied saying I know who your dealer was, it's Tim. (This is a joke no ones on drugs) But Tim always jokes about supplying drugs. After the joke, Ben was like "So you and Tim, went out?" and I was like yeah "About this time last year." Ben was like "how long?" and I said "Like a month a bit." (I realised I wasn't ready.) Then he said "You two were the perfect couple." The convo kinda ended there. But later Ben came up to me when i was umpiring a game and we talked but then suddenly he was like "Why don't you go watch Tim?" and some other stuff and I replied "It was a year ago, you dick." He also teases me about other stuff. He asks weird but not really personal questions like "whats you favourite orange juice?' and stuff like that. As soon as I feel like we are getting somewhere he drops the convo/ loses interest. Is this a 'as long as I keep you interested, you won't go anywhere, have a flirt around kinda thing?' Someone else picked up on it one time. Another guy noticed the flirting and made a comment about us two together but neither of us really answered. He doesn't talk to me online that much. He's not much of an online guy though. I feel something there but he also has a lot of girls who are friends and I'm not crazy about him but he makes me smile. I don't want a serious relationship. But I would like to know if I'm wasting my time and should stop the flirting (that is accruing both ways) or if there is something there. I am being to cautious, but I don't want to ruin the friendship we have so far. So, what do you think?

He is 27, I am 24. We have worked together for 3 years, plus 3 years of friendship in that time. Both Single.
He messages everyday (pictures of funny stuff or him just saying ah work was awful today. I am the only one at work he messages We hang outside of work a lot in groups, but i am the only one he hangs out with just me.

i have met all his friends and they like me and he pointed this out to me making a big deal that one particular friend normally does not like girls. They have also asked me about the idea of him and me together but I said no at the time. Even our boss and other staff have suggested.
he also seems to be a bit nosy which i take as a silent jealousy when I talk about other boys and when my ex comes into our work.

We both flirt a lot, I do not feel as if there is a friend zone on either side so there is room to move, however we are both too shy in the department to make a move.
He is seeing someone casually atm, he did not mention it re-started but he told another worker my close female friend, that it was nothing just fun. I also caught this girl hooking up with her now married ex the other night, and suggested the idea to my guy that she was shady which he took on board.

He has also been set up with my best friend, i realize i did this now subconsciously to try and not feel what i felt for him, as i have been in a work relationship before and it did not work. However she lives over seas now, and it was a one night thing [NO NOT ALL THE WAY] she even suggested me with him after this.
I am wondering how to play it now, is there a way I can test his friendship vs. his romantic tendencies for him. I can not ask a co-worker or his friends. If the answer is no, it would not be good for the friendship or work.
