Just last year was my first year of university and during the first week i met this guy and we clicked right away we became really good friends first and then near the end of September he kissed me and we ended up being together for the entire first year of university. Before school started he was the kind of guy who hated being in relationships, actually cheated on one girlfriend, and had slept with 7 girls. When we got together he was only with me the entire year and would always look after me and i dealt with a lot of health problems so he was checking up on me a lot. When we had sex it was really passionate and loving, it wasn't like we were just two people hooking up or whatever. We broke up at the end of the year because we would be long distance for the summer (4 and a half months) and he was really worried we would grow apart. When we broke up he cried for the first time in front of me and was very emotional so it seemed like it was very hard for him. Over the summer we talked a lot (not everyday but more than exes should be talking) he told me he missed me a few times and would compliment me. He said about halfway through the summer he told me he still hadn't even hooked up with anyone (which is a big deal for him). We eventually stopped talking for about a month but then he messaged me again (every time we agreed to stop talking he would always try to message me a few weeks later). Around September this year we started talking again and he would tell me things like everything reminds me of you, and would send me things he thought i might like, like songs, or pictures of my favourite animal. He texts me at least once a week, and on Thursday he told me he still has feelings for me and we reminisced about old memories until about 2am. The last time he talked to me was Friday evening. Guys do you think he wants to get back together?

I'm 19 going on 20 in the upcoming year and I've NEVER had a boyfriend. Before this summer, I'd never even kissed anyone. And there came my friends with benefits ! Nice guy in every possible way, but doesn't want a relationship (reason doesn't matter). I had decided to end things because 1) He wanted to 'go further' and 2) i was tired of knowing that he was most likely talking to other girls

I had time to think and i'm absolutely tired of being alone. I feel like if there's some awesome guy for me out there, it'll be a while and I hate the thought of wasting opportunities because we're waiting for something better. Should I go for it and restart our friends with benefits relationship? Should we take it further? I'm open to the idea of oral, but no further.

So, last year, I slowly became friends with this guy, and he's one of those guys that look better the more you know them. I started to like him and started to not even notice we were going somewhere until we arrived. Our classes were always near each other's, so we walked to class laughing our heads off all the way (he's really funny and knows way too many pop culture references). He knew I liked him and still talked to me. He is a good guy and has anxiety problems and is a lovely klutz. I actually got him to schedule himself for a class with me (some asshat switched me out of it; I was looking forward to it). Some dickhole called me his girl (not the dickhole, he was referring to my lovely nerd), and I stuttered, "I'm not his girl, we are just friends." Fastforward to this year, I see him, my heart leaps out of my chest, and he still seems to only care about me as a friend. My friend decided to talk to him about the entire issue, and now everything is awkward. He won't even form full sentences when I try to say hi. I gave him one of my favorite books on his eighteenth birthday (he won't buy books unless they are strange, and this one was of useless facts. I circled all of my favorites way before I gave it to him), and he said, "It has marks on it." I swear I died because he hadn't talked to me for so long. That day he actually sat down at the same table before anyone else had came and that just made me so happy (I'm usually emotionally stunted). Just the other day, he sat directly behind me on the bus; since our friend talked to him, he's stayed away. Last year, when a girl wronged him, I wanted to beat her ass and thought, 'How dare she do that to MY nerd?' Is it my fault that he seems to hate me? I wish things would go back to the way they were. I miss him so much. We are literally next door neighbors if you count being at the same sea level. I miss how his eyes sparkled when we were laughing and his wide smile. Does he like me or what? Hopefully he's just shy:/
