Personally, I think that it sux that a person has to risk social repercussion to admit that physical attraction matters in a relationship.

We all hear "it's what's inside that counts". Yes, I truly 100% sincerely believe that.

BUT...unless you're literally blind, looks are what you're going to notice FIRST. I will say that if looks is ALL that you're focusing on criteria-wise for dating/relationships, then that's wrong.

But to say that look don't matter, and to care about the inside of the person...is unreasonable.

I get the feeling that, especially on GaG, the majority of the users want to omit the physical attraction part of the other person's perspective, and want that person in question to only focus on their "inner person"...

...which I feel fights human nature imo and is asking WAY too much.

I don't expect everyone to be a "10" (however I don't think anyone would mind HAVING a "10").

What I'm saying is...to NOT be apathetic about how you look everyday, and make sure that you actually CARE about your appearance health / hygeine / fitness / style-wise, and put in the effort to look the best that you can.
