I discovered my highschool crush was single recently, and I found her in some dating sites. I finally worked up asking her out and we went on a rather strange date.
I didn't handle things right and I tried to rush to a relationship, and I didn't get a second date. And I was mad about how she and I handled things I blocked her on Instagram.
About 5 months later, she texted me with a new number, and said not to delete it. I know I left out a lot of details, but I didn't respond. It's been a few weeks since, and still nothing. I also found out a really close mutual friend, and one she was very close to didn't even get her number.
I've since found her again on ok Cupid, and we are a 98 % match but we still haven't talked.

Why update me? Does she care I didn't respond?

Here is the deal I have a crush on this girl she's 2 years younger than me and after I first met her, she started tilling me how one of my friends started talking to her and I started to worn her not get close to him, anyway after a while a mutual friend told me that she's crushing on my friend so when she began to tell me about him again I faced her with the truth and told her that I think she loves him she denied it and told me that he's just a friend. then her birthday came up I planned to get her flowerd a nice gift and everything but then I realize through instagram and that same mutual friend that her friends threw her a surprise party and I wasn't invited, although her friends knew I was close to her, and they also invited her crush so I got mad and i didn't talk to her at all for her birthday week... And avoided any contact what so ever... I know what I did was wrong but I just couldn't stand it however what really mad me angryier is that she didn't try to tell ask what's wrong and simply just threw me out of her life... And now it has been 3-5 months since her birthday and we didn't talk at all. and I don't know should i just text her ( however I don't know what to say and I don't want it to be awkward (suggestions please ) ) beacause I m the one who is taking this to far or should I just wait until faith units us again.
